Check compatibility first
- SIP phones (Grandstream, Fanvil, most Yealink models) work with standard VoIP services and PBX systems such as 3CX and Asterisk.
- Teams phones run Microsoft Teams natively. Choose these only if your business calls through Teams.
- PoE lets the phone take power from the network cable, with no power pack at every desk.
How many lines and keys?
Reception and team leaders benefit from more line or BLF keys, which show colleagues' status and allow one-touch transfers. For most desks, a phone with a colour screen and a handful of programmable keys is plenty.
